RFID 4 fashion: to be repeated!

On Thursday 12th November, more than a hundred people gathered in Parma (Italy) for the RFID 4 fashion event.

The workshop aimed at presenting the results of the latest research activities of the EU funded SERAMIS Project and detailing successful RFID deployments and benefits in companies like lmpinj, Diffusione Tessile, Adler, Liu Jo, Patrizia Pepe and Decathlon.

Also, thematic afternoon sessions focused on important issues such as inventory accuracy and privacy.

The workshop was held at the Centro Congressi Sant’Elisabetta, at the University Campus of Parma. There, according to the mission of the Board of Advisors fashion of RFID Lab, Logistics and SC managers, IT and Retail executives joined together to share the industry RFID best practices, get insights about use cases and be updated with the latest technological news and hot deployments.

The workshop was promoted by Id Solutions, a spin-off company of the University of Parma, and co-sponsored by companies such as Impinj, NXP, Smartrac, Zebra, TexTrace, Lab Id and Temera.

Also, scientific and media partners of the event were the International Journal of RF technologies: Research and Applications (edited by lOS Press), RFID Journal, LogisLab and it4fashion.
